There has been one confirmed case of H1N1, (or as one of my teachers like to say, “hini”) at the high school in my district, and two other unconfirmed cases. (still at the high school) How many cases would it take to close the school? Do they have to be all at one campus? (We have a primary/elementary campus, a intermediate/ middle school campus, and a high school campus.) How long do you think we would be off?

I am flying from Seattle to Phoenix next Monday. I already looked up the symptoms of the this virus. It has the same symptoms as the flu. I already got my flu shot on February 12th when my family was sick
with the flu. I want to make sure to not end up with the swine flu.
I do have medical insurance so if I do get sick I will be able to get seen at the doctors. What are the chance of getting the swine flu while on my trip? Since I am going to be really close to the us mexico border. I am not going to mexico. I will be staying in the Mesa and phoenix area.

There are 5 in our family (2 adults and 3 kids under 7) and the kids all took the vaccine but we have not. I have lupus and get a flu shot every year but I don’t think I will take the H1N1. I think that the shot made the kids a little sick for a couple of days after the got it.
